I think Rory feels the same way. Ito doesn't care one way or another. Both of them think that it's fun to watch sleeping humans. For a while, anyway. If the humans don't wake up, Ito breaks out the "single claw on nose/lip/cheek" tactic to make sure we're aware that he's there while Rory watches approvingly.
